Privacy Policy

How ChickenChips collects, uses, and protects your information. Last updated June 1, 2026.

ChickenChips (“we,” “us”) runs https://chickenchips.com. We keep data collection to a minimum. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand which posts are read and how people find us. It collects standard, mostly-anonymized data such as pages visited, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, and referring site, using cookies and similar technologies.
  • Newsletter email. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you provide so we can send it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply and follow up.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t ask for names, addresses, or payment details.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics (via Google Analytics) to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting you can enable.

Third parties

  • Google Analytics - processes the analytics data described above. See Google’s privacy policy.
  • Our email/newsletter provider - stores your address only to deliver the newsletter you asked for.
  • Our web host - keeps standard server logs (e.g. IP addresses) for security and reliability.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of analytics. To make a request, email hello@chickenchips.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and block analytics cookies in your browser.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we’ll update the “last updated” date above.
